Openface composite is a hybrid of the Full and Flatbread composite builds. The bottom of the board is skinned in denser foam instead of wood. This gives you the durability and ride qualities wood provides with a bit more flex inherent in the foam Flatbread builds. It’s a good choice if you’re a lighter weight rider (160 lbs. and under) or if you just prefer a more flexy board that’s going to hold up to abuse.
