The asymmetrical MiniBob is essentially the same as the original MiniBob, but the outline is shifted and altered to accommodate the uneven leverage every surfer has (you can apply more pressure on your toe side than your heelside). Decreasing the area on the heelside makes it easier to lean into a turn, especially on wider tailed boards. It also has a shifted outline because of the tendency to lean more forward on your backhand, as well as a sidecut to help loosen it up. The fin setup is split between the original keel fin on the toe side and a twinzer combo on the heelside to further loosen up the feel when going backside. This model is a good choice if your a lighter weight rider, want to surf the MiniBob model in bigger conditions, or simply want to try an asymmetrical board.
